The first Jessica Project opened in Pomorskie

On 1^st September 2013, the Old Brewery in Kościerzyna was opened. That is the first completed project in the Pomorskie region executed with the use of money from the Jessica Project.

Jessica Project has been prepared by European Commission with co-operation of the European Investment Bank. The project aims to provide refundable financing for the projects that will develop urban areas and increase their attractiveness. The project in Kościerzyna cost 25mln PLN, with 7,7mln PLN was a refundable loan from the Jessica.

The Old Brewery in Koscierzyna consists of a shopping center, restaurant, pub, pizzeria, hotel, conference, wedding hall and, of course, the brewery. The brewery will produce three different types of beer which used to be produced in this part of Poland many years ago. Since the menu was created using the recipes found in various archives and museums, the restaurant will serve forgotten Kaszubian dishes. The heart of the restaurant is the grill, located in easily noticeable location, so that guests will be able to see how the food is being prepared, while enjoying the superb beer.
