Project "Let's communicate!"

Our Association was a partner of the “Let’s Communicate!” project (Interreg Baltic Sea Region 2014-2020).

“Let’s communicate!” project functioned as the Communication Point of the European Union Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region (EUSBSR).

The project aimed to maintain and develop further the internal and external communications of the EUSBSR framework. In addition, the project supported the EUSBSR stakeholders in adapting their activities to meet the new Action Plan. The project contributed to mainstreaming neighbourhood cooperation, adapting Policy Area Work Plans to contribute to EU climate goals and increasing ownership by working together and sharing knowledge.

The partnership consisted of representatives from several Baltic Sea region countries and pan-Baltic organisations:

Lead Partner: Centrum Balticum Foundation (FI)
VASAB Secretariat (LV)
“Pomorskie in the European Union” Association (PL)
Eastern Norway County Network (NO)
Vilnius Chamber of Commerce (LT)

Associated partners:
Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Growth (SE)
Baltic Sea Commission of CPMR
Estonian Ministry for Foreign Affairs (EE)

“Let’s communicate!” administered the EUSBSR websiteTwitterFlickr and Youtube accounts. The project gathered information about EUSBSR developments to its communication channels, promoted the use of the EUSBSR visual identity and provided with communication support and tools to the EUSBSR stakeholders. In addition, the project reached out to new target groups in order to attract new stakeholders to take part in action.

In addition, the project provided support for the Policy Areas both in addressing non-EU cooperation and in aligning their work with the EU climate policy objectives.
