Economy Days 2013 in Słupsk

The 10^th edition of the event took plane on 17^th and 18^th October in Słupsk. The aim of the Economy Days is to facilitate establishing cooperation in the economy sector, and to exchange views and opinions among the local authorities and businessmen from the region. Due to the wide variety of issues tackled during the event, the Economic Days stimulate the economic development and promote the local businesses.

The first day’s discussion panels focused on topics which included the support for the entrepreneurs in the light of the new financial perspective, the future of small harbours, the social responsibility of the entrepreneurships, and the problems related to the vocational education in the region. The main session that day, joined by the Members of the Committee of Regions, was devoted to the increasing role of the cities when it comes to the country development. The discussions on the second day were dedicated to the renewable energy sources, nuclear energy, and the transfer of knowledge to economy. The guests also had an opportunity to take part in the lecture and workshops related to the issue of urban planning.
