Connecting the Baltic Sea Region
Sustainable transport – Matching ecology and economy

Wednesday, May 30, 2012 from 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Mecklenburg-Vorpommern EU Office
Boulevard Saint-Michel 80, 1040 Brussels

Invitation

Throughout the history, the Baltic Sea as a connecting element has had a significant impact on the progress and growth of the region. Today, we need to enhance this cooperation and make the region more coherently connected to see even further growth and progress.

We believe that connectivity is more and more crucial as the globalized world becomes smaller. Improved connectivity for all regions is essential for the future development. Therefore, the iBSG has chosen “connectivity” as the theme for this year’s iBSG Seminar and Summer Reception.

As the revision of the future TEN-T programme is on its way and the discussions on the future transport policy budget is feverishly debated, the iBSG seminar will focus on how to make smart investments in the future, even in times of great financial concerns.

Join us to listen and discuss  the future policies and hear about interesting and important connectivity projects that showcase how we can strengthen our cooperation and business possibilities.

Register for this event as soon as possible, for practical reasons no later than
23rd May. Register here and please contact trainee@westfinland.be for further information. To view the final seminar programme, click here. Welcome on 30th May to our Baltic Sea event!
