Hundreds of people came to this year’s edition of the NARRACJE Festival held in Gdańsk between 15th – 17th November. The event, organised for the 5th time by the City Culture Institute and Gdańsk City Gallery, aims at exploring urban plots and contexts with the means of light and video presentations displayed in the public space of the city. The 2013 edition, entitled “Unearthing Delights”, was led by an independent curator for New Zealand, Rob Garrett. He focused on the city history and surprised the audience with detailed knowledge on the subject. The participants had a chance to join trips around the festival area, and to take part in the installations by telling their own stories or showing pictures related to the city. Those who enjoy photos could join a contest on Instagram – as it turned out, as many as 259 photos were submitted, out of which three were awarded with the main prize, and five with distinction.
